KEEP IT CLEAN FOR THE KIDS!
This should be a great day! A great day to get your bike or car washed, a great day to have a hamburger or dog with some old friends and a great day to do something positive for the children at the One Way Farm! Bikini babes, food, refreshments, raffles, 50/50 and music (yet to be announced) will be on hand for some good clean fun. The event will be held at Cycle Specialties on August 7th from 11:00AM - 4:00PM. Cycle Specialties is just one mile North of I-275 on Rt. 4, (Dixie Hwy.) in Fairfield. Donations are welcome. CHROME DIVAS' NIGHT RUN!
You're probably saying to yourself, "I wouldn't miss the American Dawgs' Bike/Car Wash on Saturday afternoon, August 7th, but I wish I had something exciting to do that same night." Well, here it is, ta da! The Chrome Divas' 4th Annual Night Run! You'll meet at Edgewater Race Park and enjoy a tasty dinner buffet beginning at 6:00PM. Then it's kickstands up promptly at 8:00 PM for the evening's moonlit adventure. Willie's Sports Bar in Hidden Valley, the Cabana on the River and Luckeys Irish Pub will be your refreshment stops. The after-party at Luckey's features live music with Superbad. $20 single/$30 double and a free shirt for the first 75 registered. Dinner and poker hand included. Proceeds to benefit the Susan G. BENEFIT FOR JOE HURLEY & LISA RHOADES CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION!
Joe Hurley and Lisa Rhoades were participating in an Indiana charity run when an oncoming car struck a hand full of motorcycles. Hurley, just 43 and Rhoades, only 40 were two of the three motorcyclists killed - four people were injured. Hurley was a loving father to Jordan and Leah. Also left behind were Joe and Roxie and countless family and friends. 100% of the proceeds from this event go to Joe and Lisa's children. The date will be August 14, 2010 and starts at The Neighbors, 3269 North Bend Rd. 45239. Registration starts at 10:00AM - $20 Couple, $15 Single. Kickstands up at noon. Free Breakfast from 10:00 - 11:30AM. 5th ANNUAL "JOE BOB" RUN!
If it's a Shriner's run, you know it will be a good ride and a great party! So plan on attending now... the 5th Annual "Joe Bob" Run presented by Shriners Motor Patrol Unit! This worthy event will be held Saturday, August 28th - starting and ending at - Chevelle's Sports Cafe on Harrison Ave. in Dent. Registration begins at High Noon and all kickstands up at 1:00 PM. You'll find fun and "Game$" and live music by Harry Strawberry. $15 single / $20 couple. HIGH NOONERS RIDE ON SUNDAYS!
Looking for something different to do on a Sunday afternoon? Join the High Nooners for a nice ride, delicious lunch and, possibly, a refreshing ice cream stop. Mileage can vary from 90 to 150 backroad miles and the company couldn't be better! The High Nooners meet at the Best Damn Bar in Miamitown (one block north of 128 on Harrison Ave.) Best time to arrive is 11:30AM and we try to leave at noon. Everyone and all makes of bikes are invited.
