Hi and welcome to the new web home of the American Dawgs. Some of you may remember us as The Road-Dawgs in years past. Times do change and so did our name. We wanted to incorporate a bit of American Pride into our name and we figured why not just add exactly what we are, American. We are proud to be American and we are proud of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in keeping America what it is today, Free. We are also proud and support those who serve in the armed services. Some of our members have family currently serving and others who have served in the past. To all of you, thank you.

The American Dawgs are an AMA Chartered Organization as well as having 100% individual membership participation in the American Motorcycle Association (AMA). The AMA is a great way to let everyone know that we do not stand alone in our fight of freedom and the American way. Our members are all members of a Motorcycle Rights Organization (MRO), other than the AMA. There are state MRO’s as well as national, but they all have our rights as a motorcyclist in their interest. We recommend that anyone who owns a motorcycle, on or off road, participate in the AMA and an MRO of your choice.

Ok, enough of that. The American Dawgs are local in the Cincinnati Ohio area. We are a small group that just loves to ride on a bike of our choice. We travel all around the Tri-state area looking for highways and off the beaten path roads that show us some of the most beautiful parts of the area. We have plans in the future of adding some of these routes on-line so that anyone can print out a route and enjoy what we do all the time. We have a membership ride once a month. These rides are open to anyone. We do not have any set route when we gather but we normally will travel in the neighborhood of 250 miles on these rides. They are always a great time.

We have a couple of AMA sanctioned rallies/rides a year that help support children organizations that are local to our communities. We participate in other clubs functions as well as many benefit rides per year. Some travel the country to the larger better-known rallies; Sturgis, Hog Rock, Wetzeland, Daytona and we don’t want to forget the Chillicothe Rodeo over the Labor Day weekend. (What a zoo!) You will see us participating somewhere almost every weekend as long as the snow has not settled on the road. We all have the love of riding in our blood and we love to ride all we can.
